Yogesh Kumar

Biography:

Dr. Yogesh Kumar is a Professor of Physiology at AIIMS Patna with over 17 years of experience in medical education, clinical services, and research. He completed his MD in Physiology from LLRM Medical College, Meerut, in 2007. At AIIMS Patna, he leads the Electrodiagnostic Laboratory and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring services, contributing significantly to neuromuscular diagnostics. He has previously served as Deputy Medical Superintendent at AIIMS Patna for eight years, demonstrating his leadership in hospital administration. Dr. Kumar is highly proficient in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate students and has actively led multiple innovative research initiatives. In addition to his academic and clinical roles, he served as the Nodal Officer for the PMJAY Health Scheme (Ayushman Bharat) and the Kayakalp Scheme (Swachh Bharat Mission) for three years each. He is also a member of the DST NIDHI-PRAYAS Project Monitoring Committee and serves as Guest Faculty for the AICTE-ATAL Faculty Development Programme at IIT Patna. Dr. Kumar’s expertise lies in healthcare management, physiological diagnostics, and patient-centered innovation. He has published more than 50 research articles in National and International journals.
