Biography:
Meher Garg is a student researcher and community leader dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovation and service. She is a Regeneron ISEF Finalist, JSHS Finalist, and recipient of the President’s Volunteer Service Gold Award and Congressional Award. Her research spans glioblastoma stem cell differentiation, Alzheimer’s disease, and neurobiological responses to hypoxia, conducted at the University of Iowa, University of Michigan, and Rutgers University, with resulting publications and national presentations. She founded Melody Therapy, bringing live music to hospitals and memory care centers. Through interdisciplinary research, leadership, and clinical service, Meher aims to bridge science and compassion to improve patient outcomes.
