Biography:
Ghaith Alsabbagh is a medical graduate from the University of Sharjah, UAE, and currently serves as a neurology research fellow at the University of Illinois Chicago. His research focuses on neuroprognostication after cardiac arrest, hypoxic-ischemic brain injury, neuromodulation and biomarker discovery in patients with opioid use disorder. He is involved in clinical trials investigating noninvasive brain stimulation and neurophysiological biomarkers in patients with opioid use disorder. His work integrates multimodal neuroimaging and electrophysiology to better understand large-scale brain network dynamics and develop biomarkers relevant to brain injury and neuropsychiatric disorders.
