Biography:
Daniel Lam is a medical student with academic interests spanning psychiatry, neuromodulation, and emerging mental health technologies. At the core of his work is a focus on the individual patient experience, integrating internal insight, psychodynamic and psychotherapeutic frameworks with modern psychiatric interventions. His research interests include interventional psychiatry, treatment-resistant mood and psychotic disorders, state-dependent neuromodulation, and novel pharmacologic and psychedelic-assisted treatments. He is particularly interested in how combining psychotherapy with neuromodulation and other emerging technologies may unlock more precise, personalized, and clinically meaningful psychiatric care.
