Biography:
Alpna Tyagi is an Assistant Research Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, supported by a VA Merit award. She earned her PhD from the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India and completed her postdoctoral training at Vanderbilt University and University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. Her research focuses on signalling pathways involved in mitochondrial dysfunction, metabolism, and neuroinflammation in the brain, with the goal of developing metabolic and anti-inflammatory therapeutic strategies for Alzheimer’s disease.
